Privacy Policy

1. Who I am

This policy explains how Miguelina Rosario, Accountant & Bookkeeper (Exequátur No. 709-24), collects, uses and protects personal information through miguelinarosario.com and my services. I work alone, 100% remotely from the Dominican Republic, with clients in the United States and the Dominican Republic.

2. Information I collect

From website forms

• Initial Consultation: your name, contact details and information about your business. This information is private and is never shared or published.
• Share your experience: your name and comments. At the end of the form, you choose whether your comment can be published. If you say no, it is not published. If you say yes, I publish what you wrote, with the name you entered.

From clients

• Contact and business information
• Financial records and documents needed for the work
• Read-only access to accounting software or bank accounts, only when you choose to give it

From website visitors

• Basic browsing data through Google Analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location)

3. How I use your information

• To provide and manage my services
• To schedule meetings with Google Calendar
• To send reports, reminders and service messages
• To send occasional emails about my services. Every email includes an option to unsubscribe.
• To improve the website
• To meet legal and tax obligations

4. Passwords and access

I do not ask for your passwords. I prefer that you send me the information. If you give me access to a bank or other account, it must be read-only. Any credential I receive is stored encrypted in a password manager.

5. Where your information is stored

• Google Drive: client documents, in one private folder per client
• QuickBooks Online: your accounting records
• Client portal and CRM (Firebase): client records, documents and service tracking
• Google Sheets: website form answers
• Gmail / Google Workspace: email communication

6. Security

• Multi-factor authentication on my accounts
• Encrypted password manager
• Access limited to what the work requires
• Access removed when a service ends

7. Sharing your information

I do not sell or rent your information, and I do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. I only share information:

• With the service providers listed in this policy, to run my business
• With your CPA or other people you authorize
• When the law requires it

For white-label work, I handle client information only as the CPA firm instructs.

8. Website tools and cookies

• Google Analytics: measures website visits and uses cookies.

I do not use advertising or social media cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

9. How long I keep information

• Accounting records: 7 years after the service ends
• Contact information: 2 years
• Browsing data: 2 years

If you ask me to delete your information, I delete it as explained in section 10.

10. Your rights

You can ask me to:

• See the information I have about you
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Stop using it for emails or other purposes

I respond within 48 hours. If you ask me to delete your information, it is deleted completely within 48 hours. The only records I keep are my own invoices and payment records, which I must keep by law.

These rights apply to residents of the United States and the Dominican Republic, including the rights under Dominican Law 172-13 on personal data protection.

11. Minors

My services are for businesses and professionals. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

If I make important changes, I will announce them on this page and email active clients.
